Aegir Wave Power is a joint venture company between Pelamis Wave Power and Vattenfall. Aegir has been set up to explore wave power development opportunities in Scottish waters and plans to deploy Pelamis Wave Energy Converters on developed sites.

The REA was established in 2001, as a not-for-profit trade association, representing British renewable energy producers and promoting the use of renewable energy in the UK. The REA endeavours to achieve the right regulatory framework for renewables to deliver an increasing contribution to the UK's electricity, heat and transport needs.
The Marine Renewables Industry Association (MRIA) represents Ireland's Marine Renewables community in the fields of Wave and Tidal Energy. The Association includes firms engaged in device development and manufacture, developers of projects and sites based on Marine Renewables, academic researchers, consultants, professional firms and contractors as well as interested individuals. The Association is an all-island body.
The Ocean Renewable Energy Group (OREG) aligns industry, academia and government to ensure that Canada is a leader in providing ocean energy solutions to a world market. OREG works to advance the wave energy, tidal energy, and in-stream (hydrokinetic) energy industries in Canada and internationally.
The Ocean Renewable Energy Coalition (OREC) is the national trade association for the marine renewable energy industry in the United States. The coalition is working with industry leaders, academic scholars, and other interested NGO’s to encourage ocean renewable technologies and raise awareness of their vast potential to help secure an affordable, reliable, environmentally friendly energy future.
The Electric Power Research Institute, Inc. (EPRI) conducts research and development relating to the generation, delivery and use of electricity for the benefit of the public. An independent, nonprofit organization located in the US, EPRI brings together its scientists and engineers as well as experts from academia and industry to help address challenges in electricity, including reliability, efficiency, health, safety and the environment.
