First tube leaves fabrication hall

The first major structural component of the new P2 Pelamis leaves the fabrication hall.
PWP worked with lifting specialists Bernard Hunter and haulage company West of Scotland to move the 67 tonne assembly to the adjacent paint hall. The fabrication was completed earlier in the week by Steel Engineering who continue to work on the remaining four sections of the Pelamis structure at PWP’s Leith site.
